Stephanie W. Gant, born April 4, 1959, is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She grew up and attended public schools in Lynchburg, Virginia. As a child she attended Prayer Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, where her next-door neighbor was the pastor. She believes that the Lord allowed her neighbor to relocate to Lynchburg and move across the street from her just so that she could be won to the Lord. She vividly remembers as a child feeling a strong presence of the Lord upon her. She had no idea that the Lord would one day raise her up to be used in ministry.
Heeding the call of God on her life, Stephanie was licensed as an evangelist in 1987 by the 3rd Jurisdiction of Virginia Church of God in Christ. She has always had a particular concern for the church and its leaders. In June of 1992, she resigned from her position with the United States Government as management analyst in pursuit of full time ministry. Over the past 20 years she has served in numerous positions throughout the church. She currently serves her local church as Women’s Department Coordinator and she also serves as the Augusta District Chairlady for the Northern Georgia II Jurisdiction.
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia State University, graduating with honors. She also attended the C. H. Mason Bible College in Richmond, Virginia. She is an avid reader and is committed to the principle of being a “life long learner.”
Stephanie currently resides in Martinez, Georgia. She is married to Elder Daniel Gant, who is the pastor of Mason Chapel Church of God in Christ in Augusta, Georgia. She is the mother of three daughters: Stacy, McKenzie and Essence and one son, Samuel. She also has two son-in –laws and six grandchildren.
In 1983 God called Stephanie into ministry. Since that time she has grown and worked in many facets of the church. In response to the abundant doors that God began opening for her to minister, in 1999 she formally founded Stephanie Gant Ministries. She travels within the United States and abroad conducting conferences and revivals. She is also the newly published author of Women of Destiny: Fulfilling God’s Purpose.
